Welcome to the U14 National League Team!
In our Under 14 National League basketball team, we focus on developing skilled and passionate individuals to reach their full potential. The team competes all over the UK, which requires a higher dedication and commitment to training and games from it's players.
The Coaches
LESLIE ISAAC - U14 HEAD COACH
Coach Leslie has 25+ years playing experience and 7+ years NBL coaching experience. He and his coaching team have won 3x BE NBL championships in the last 2 seasons (2x @ U12 back-to-back and 1x @ U14) and have helped many of their players succeed within the Basketball England Aspire talent program, including Super Region selections, Super Region try-outs, and being selected to play in the intra-region tournament.
He is always researching new and exciting training techniques to keep his sessions fresh and relevant. His coaching approach sets out to make basketball fun and exciting for the kids, improving their skills and confidence, both on and off the court. His sessions are fully inclusive, regardless of ability and experience; with a strong emphasis on welcoming new players to the club and building a strong team culture; that extends beyond training sessions and games. DAVID DOWNS - U14 NBL ASSISTANT COACH
Coach David is one of the Assistant Coaches of the Oxford Hoops U14 NBL team and assists Coach Leslie in running the U14 & U16 program.

TADAS MINKEVICIUS - U14 NBL ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Tadas is one of the Assistant Coaches of the Oxford Hoops U14 and U16 NBL teams, and assists Coach Leslie in running both programs.
